Arci Rieti Aps

The Arci Rieti Ap Association is the provincial reference structure of the National Arci Association, which is configured as an integrated network of people, values and places of active citizenship that promotes culture, sociability and solidarity, to which 13 clubs and about a thousand members adhere.

Founded in 2001

It was founded in 2001 as an Association of social promotion. In addition to supporting the activities of the clubs, the Arci committee of Rieti lives its own life as a place of civil and democratic commitment.

Mission

Arci promotes a concept of community that takes complexity as a wealth and lives dignity to differences. The Arci of Rieti is therefore committed to the fight against all forms of marginalization, racism, xenophobia, intolerance and discomfort, it fights for a culture of non-violence and peace, for the right to self-determination of peoples, for the affirmation of a tolerant, supportive and multiethnic society.

Areas of work

The Arci of Rieti is committed to the action aimed at encouraging the growth of people through widespread cultural promotion activities, so that all communities, each respecting its own history and traditions, have access to cultural rights, a necessary condition for a dignified, authentically democratic, open social life. In addition, the Arci Committee of Rieti is engaged in the intervention to defend and innovate the welfare state in a perspective of rowth of the role of the social economy and non-profit subjects.
