This voluntary organization was created with the aim of preserving the landscape heritage of the Alta Val Malone area.

Founding members

Among the founding members there are representatives of all the Corio associations and also volunteers from the neighboring municipality of Rocca Canavese, to ensure a cohesive and shared development of the activity in the area concerned.

700 supporting members

In its first four years of activity, the Association has reached the remarkable number of 700 supporting members. Among these there are 60 volunteers active in the maintenance of the paths, who in the period 2015-2019 have accumulated a mountain of over 15,000 hours of work dedicated to the restoration and signaling of the paths.

Awards

In 2019 the report Carovana delle Alpi of Legambiente awarded a green flag to the ASAVM, as an example of innovative practices and experiences of environmental and cultural quality of mountain territories.
