Fondazione Istituto Cavalier Francesco Menotti - ONLUS

The Foundation provides services to the disabled young person according to your wishes and in the wake of the social doctrine of the Catholic Church, as defined by the Foundress, Mrs. Carolina Pugliese, widow of Cavalier Francesco Menotti.

The “Istituto Cavalier Francesco Menotti – ONLUS” was born in 1920 by the will of Mrs. Carolina Pugliese who, on the death of her husband, Cavalier Francesco Menotti, set up a reception center in his memory for needy people in Cadegliano and its province.

Moved by authentic charitable zeal, constantly traveling between Milan, where she lived and her beloved Cadegliano, in defense of the unique and sacred value of the person, the widow invested her possessions and worked to ensure that a villa owned by her was used as accommodation for the homeless.

The “Fondazione Cavalier Francesco Menotti – Onlus” Social Care Residence is located in the charming village of Cadegliano Viconago, in the province of Varese, set at 414 meters above sea level, in the greenery of the Varesine Pre-Alps, a few meters from the border with Swiss.

The retirement home is located in the tourist resort which enjoys a unique glimpse of Lake Lugano and the structure of the Foundation is at the beginning of the walkway of the Argentera Park, a riot of landscapes between ancient renovated mills.
