Kermasofia SRL creates training courses that are simple to understand and easy to use to approach financial concepts and to learn personal finance management.

We are on a mission to empower women and to improve the financial literacy of Torino area women in all walks of life.

We use already established associations that support women to identify and work with clients. Kermasofia takes a “woman to woman” approach to develop a rapport with clients and to promote an understanding that taking are of one’s money is as important as health and wellness. Based on the educational needs identified in collaboration with the customer association, course sessions are tailored to the audience.

Women comprise 50% of the population, but are considered to contribute less to society than they should. Excluding women from a financial life hurts the Italian economy. Women can be good savers,even if the effort is limited to buying a new pair of shoes rather than creating a retirement plan. Women are tasked with managing their families and social relationships. What they are not equipped to do is interact with the financial world because they lack confidence and adequate knowledge to use the the most common financial instruments.

Greater female empowerment raises the view of women as equal citizens.

Opening the economy to women should be a priority for Italy according to a World Bank report, reporting that today’s GDP is the same as it was in 2006. A general cultural change would not only strengthen the rights of women, but also raise expectations for women to work and manage money.

Our vision is to help women develop the financial-cultural skill-set to make decisions that allow them to achieve greater autonomy. Greater female cultural and economic empowerment improves gender equality and increases the well-being not only of women, but of society as a whole.
