Atelierul de Pânză is a social enterprise with 11 years of experience in making environmentally and human-friendly textiles. Atelierul de Pânză’s main products are reusable bags made of 100% cotton (untreated, undyed, unbleached), reusable masks and various products created from pre-production textile waste, which thus get a new life. Bags are an eco-friendly alternative to disposable plastic bags, a major pollutant, with an estimated 5 billion plastic bags consumed annually in Romania alone. In addition to its environmental mission, the Atelierul de Pânză also has a social mission, offering jobs to people with disabilities or social problems, among whom the incidence of unemployment is 90%.
