CERAMIC LAB

CeramicLab opened in 2022 Caferamica, a café with ceramic activities, a welcoming space that offers the services and drinks specific to a café, but, in addition, our customers have the opportunity to create and paint ceramic vessels. We offer a special product, the ‘Ceramic painting’ package, which contains both the semi-finished white ceramic product and ceramic colors and utensils, so that the client can customize their own pottery.

In the same building, behind the café, we had the Ceramics Workshop, where we make the ceramic products to be painted by the customers and burn the products before and after they are painted. On weekends we organize clay modeling workshops, where our customers will be able to make their own ceramic products from clay before painting. The workshops are carried out under the guidance of by our staff, who offer support to the participants to make the desired dish.

Social impact

Because we know that children and teenagers from disadvantaged backgrounds do not have access to recreational activities, we organize two ceramic workshops monthly, offered free of charge, for children from rural areas or other disadvantaged backgrounds, from Iași County (Romania), to contribute to their harmonious development and to the increase of equity and equal opportunities. We collaborate with rural schools and other organization and we encourage them to come to our location so that the experience is even better for the children.

Also we contribute to the scholarship fund organized by Fundatia Comunitara Iasi, to support teenagers with poor financial conditions to continue their studies.
