Carpentry workshop

The social enterprise is a company in the form of a carpentry workshop that offers 3 types of products for different target categories:

• Furniture for homes: kitchen, bedroom, living room, etc.
• Furniture for businesses: HORECA, kindergartens, schools
• Wooden toys

The social mission of the furniture workshop is to become an employment solution in Iași county, Romania for young people with disabilities, those who come from the child protection system or from families with problems, unemployed.

Social objectives

1. Reduction of unemployment and social exclusion in Iași County by employing 5 people, of which 2 employees belong to vulnerable categories (young people with disabilities, those from the child protection system or from families with problems, unemployed), in the first 3 months after signing the grant contract.
2. Reducing social inequities and poverty in Iasi County by investing 10% of the profit, after the first year of activity, in furnishing kindergartens and state schools in the countryside, but not less than one educational institution per year.
3. Reducing the social inequities between the educational resources that children from rural areas benefit from compared to children from urban areas in Iași County, by investing 10% of the profit, after the first year of activity, in the annual equipping of at least 2 rural kindergartens with educational toys made of wood produced in our furniture workshop.
